Loomis AB has announced its agreement to acquire Transportadora del Interior S.A. for an enterprise value of ARS 27.5 billion (approximately SEK 180 million). This strategic acquisition, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, will enhance Loomis' operational capacity in Argentina by adding three new branches in key regions, specifically in the provinces of Santa Fe and Córdoba.

Founded in 2018, Transportadora del Interior S.A. specializes in cash management services, providing cash-in-transit and cash management solutions to both financial institutions and the retail sector. The company is headquartered in Rosario, Santa Fe, and operates three branches with a workforce of approximately 200 employees. In 2025, Transportadora del Interior reported revenues of around ARS 14.6 billion (approximately SEK 96 million), highlighting its significant role in the regional cash management landscape.

The acquisition aligns with Loomis' strategic priority of expanding its presence in emerging Latin American markets. Since establishing operations in Argentina in 2012, Loomis has focused on strengthening its geographical footprint, and this acquisition will solidify its operations in the country's three largest cities: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Rosario. The addition of Transportadora del Interior is expected to enhance Loomis' service offerings, particularly to small and medium-sized enterprises, and bolster its Automated Solutions segment.

This transaction is indicative of the growing demand for cash management services in Argentina, driven by the country's economic activities in densely populated regions. Loomis anticipates that integrating Transportadora del Interior into its existing operations will be accretive to the Group's operating profit (EBITA), reflecting the potential for increased business volume in the region.

Overall, the acquisition of Transportadora del Interior S.A. positions Loomis to capitalize on the evolving cash management sector in Argentina. As the company continues to expand its operational reach, it may also set a precedent for further consolidation within the industry, signaling a robust outlook for cash management services in Latin America.
