Resonant Clinical Solutions has announced the acquisition of Creapharm Bioservices, a France-based biobanking and cryogenic storage provider, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction, which was finalized on September 3, 2026, aims to enhance Resonant's Biorepository capabilities in Europe, positioning the company to better support complex clinical programs, particularly those involving cell and gene therapies.

Creapharm Bioservices specializes in the biobanking and cryogenic storage of biotherapeutics and biological samples, offering services that include vapor-phase nitrogen storage at temperatures as low as -196°C, mechanical freezer and cold storage, as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliant sample custody. The acquisition comes at a time when the clinical trial landscape is increasingly shifting towards advanced therapies, necessitating specialized handling and storage solutions. According to a study by IQVIA, non-small-molecule assets, which encompass advanced modalities, accounted for 46% of Phase I–III clinical trial starts in 2024, a significant increase from 38% five years prior.
